Chevy 350 dies when put in gear. Every time I put her on drive or reverse she bogs down and dies unless you brake/gas at the same time. Dec 6, 2003 · Ive got a buddy that has a mildly built 350 in his truck. After it stalls it always starts right up though. It has been suggested it might be the generator or voltage regulator, but I don’t think the car would start and idle as well as it does if that was the problem. com or post back.
